Tutus and Tuques was inspired by the story of Kate Mc Rae. A 5 year old girl with a cancerous brain tumor. The creator was so touched by Kate's moms words on her blog that she often thought of Kate and her own daughter. A her daughter danced around in her tutu she wondered if Kate will get the chance to do the same and many other kids for that matter.
I encourage all of you to get involved, contact your friends , moms neighbors and get together for tutus and tuques. You will recieve a package in the mail with all of the supplies needed to make tutus and tuques (hats) for the children that are in hospitals battling a terrible disease.
It is so simple, it's for a great cause and no talent or skill is required.Check out the site for more detailed info
